Get Apple apps on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac

You can download Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Garageband, and iMovie from the App Store.

If you recently purchased a new Mac or a 32 GB or larger iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 10 or later, these Apple apps might already be installed on your device. If they aren't, or you removed them, use the steps in this article to get them from the App Store.

When you open or install an Apple app the first time, you might be asked sign in with an Apple ID. Your Apple ID is the account that you use to access all Apple services. If you've used other Apple services such as iCloud or Messages, you should sign in to the App Store with the same Apple ID. If you don't have an Apple ID, you can create one

To see all apps made by Apple, tap or click this link. If the app you're looking for isn't there, search the App Store.

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  1. Open the App Store. 
  2. At the bottom of the screen, tap Search.
  3. Search for "Apple," then tap the link for Apple's developer page.
  4. Tap Get next to the app that you want to download, then tap Install.
  5. If asked, enter your password. You can also use Touch ID for app purchases.

On your Mac

  1. Open the App Store. Make sure that you're using the latest version of macOS.
  2. At the top of the window, click Featured.
  3. Under Quick links, click "Apps Made by Apple."
  4. Find the app that you want to download and click Get or Accept, then click Install App.
  5. If asked, enter your password. You can also use Touch ID for app purchases.
