What is iAd Producer?
iAd Producer is a Mac app for creating ads for the iAd platform. iAd producer allows you to create rich, interactive widgets for your iBooks Author projects. For example, you can create a widget that allows users to stream video from the Internet, draw using their finger, or interact with a timeline. You can also use iAd Producer to create iTunes LP and iTunes Extras.
How can iAd Producer help me create an iBooks Author widget?
iAd Producer offers five project templates to help you get started, or you can start with a blank project. When you're finished creating your widget using the extensive library of interactive elements and sophisticated animation tools, iAd Producer formats and packages your widget when you select Export to Disk from the File menu. Then just drag the widget into your iBooks Author project.
How much technical knowledge do I need to create an iBooks Author widget using iAd Producer?
iAd Producer automatically manages the HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript behind your widget. This makes it easy for you to create your content with little or no coding. For advanced developers, iAd Producer also offers sophisticated JavaScript editing and debugging.
