iPhoto ‘11: Update to 9.2.3 or later before placing an order

Update iPhoto '11 to version 9.2.3 or later before placing an order for books, cards, or calendars.

You can update iPhoto '11 in the Updates tab of the Mac App Store, if any of the following are true:

  • You are running OS X Mountain Lion.
  • You installed iPhoto '11 from the Mac App Store.
  • Your computer came with OS X Lion or later installed.

You can update iPhoto '11 by clicking on the Apple () menu and choosing Software Updates, if any of the following are true:

  • You installed iPhoto '11 from an iLife '11 installation DVD.
  • Your computer came with iLife '11 and Mac OS X v10.6.8 or earlier installed.

Note: You may need to update OS X to the latest available version before you can update iPhoto.  

  • In OS X Mountain Lion, the OS X update will be available in the Updates tab of the Mac App Store.
  • In OS X Lion and earlier, the OS X update will be available in Software Updates.
