This update addresses issues affecting overall mail service reliability and performance. The update is recommended for all servers running Mac OS X Server version 10.6.2.

Important: You should not install this update if Mac OS X Server v10.6.3 is already installed. This update has been replaced by the Mac OS X Server v10.6.3 Update. All the improvements previously delivered in the Mail Services Update 1.0 for Mac OS X Server v10.6.2 are now delivered in Mac OS X Server v10.6.3. For more information see this article.
