Arrange your apps

Touch and hold any app on the screen until they all jiggle.*

Now you can drag any app to another spot, including the Dock at the bottom of the screen.

Press the Home button to save your new arrangement.

Move an app to a different page
You start with one page of apps. To make a new page, drag an app to the right edge of the screen. You might need to wait a second for the new page to appear.
When you have more than one page, a bright dot in a row of dots above the Dock shows you which page you're on. You can move an app to a different page and create new pages:
If there are dots to the left or right of the bright dot, dragging an app to that side of the screen will move the app to the next page in that direction.
If there are no dots to the right of the bright dot, dragging an app to that side of the screen makes a new page.

If there are no dots to the left of the bright dot, dragging an app to that side of the screen has no effect.

Put apps in a folder
If you have many apps, you might want to put related apps in folders.

To make a folder, drag an app onto another app.

If you want to rename the folder, tap the name field or
and then enter the new name.

Now that you have a folder, you can drag apps into it. Folders can have more than one page.

Reorder your pages
If you have more than one page of apps, you can use iTunes to reorder the pages.
- Connect your device to your computer using the cable that came with it.
- Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod when it appears in iTunes.
- In the Apps panel, drag your screens so that they're in the order you want them.
You can also move your apps in iTunes. Double-click a page, then drag your apps where you want them.

* If you press firmly, then instead of jiggling, you might see Quick Actions for the app. Tap outside of the Quick Actions list and then touch and hold lightly on the app to try again.
