Check device eligibility for AppleCare coverage

If you want to get AppleCare coverage for your device, you might need to confirm that the device is in good condition first.

These steps can include a remote device check, taking photos of your device, or visiting an Apple Store for further inspection.*

Check coverage options online or open the AppleCare & Warranty settings on your device. Then, select the device you want to check for eligibility for AppleCare coverage.

If the device is not in good condition, it might be eligible for AppleCare coverage after an Apple-certified repair.

For iPhone, iPad, and Mac

If you are required to take photos of your device, you will need a separate iPhone or iPad to complete this part of the process. Or, you can have your device checked at an Apple Store by following the link on your device.
