Delete movies and TV shows in the Apple TV app

Remove the videos that you downloaded to your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or PC.

Delete movies and TV shows on your iPhone or iPad

1. Open the Apple TV app.

2. Tap Library, then tap Downloaded. If you don't see Downloaded, you might not have any items stored on your device.

3. Swipe left on the item that you want to delete, then tap Delete.

4. Confirm when prompted.

   

Delete movies and TV shows on your Mac

1. Open the Apple TV app.

2. Click Downloaded in the sidebar to find the item that you want to delete.

3. Move your pointer over the item that you want to delete, then click the More button.

4. Click Delete from Library, then confirm when prompted.

Delete movies and TV shows on your PC

1. Open the Apple TV app.

2. Click the Library tab, then choose Downloaded. If Downloaded isn't in the Library tab, click the More button, then turn Downloaded on.

3. Move your pointer over the item that you want to delete, then click the More button.

4. Click Delete from Library, then confirm when prompted.

If you can't delete your movies or TV shows

• Hide the item: Hiding an item removes it from your Library when you're signed in with your Apple ID.

• Turn off computer syncing: If you used a USB cable to manually sync movies or TV shows from your Mac or PC to your iPhone or iPad, you can turn off syncing to remove the content from your Library.

• Check if the item is downloaded: If you see the Download icon next to a movie or episode, it's downloaded on your device. If you don't see the Download icon, the movie or episode isn't downloaded.
