Your Apple Account gives you access to Apple services and makes all of your devices work together seamlessly. After you sign in, you can use the App Store, iCloud, iMessage, Apple Music, Apple TV+, and more.
Apple ID is now Apple Account. You can still sign in with the same email address or phone number and password.
After you create an Apple Account, you can sign in on any of your Apple devices, some Apple apps on other kinds of devices, and on Apple websites. Here are some of the websites you can use to access your account and data:
Manage your Apple Account by signing in on the Apple Account website.
View and use your iCloud data by signing in to your Apple Account on iCloud.com.
View your orders on the Apple Online Store.
Use your subscription services at music.apple.com and tv.apple.com.

Open the Settings app.
Tap Apple Account at the top.
Choose a method to sign in:
Use Another Apple Device: If you have another iPad or iPhone that’s signed in to your Apple Account, bring that device nearby and follow the instructions on both devices to complete sign-in.*
Sign in Manually: Enter your Apple Account email address or phone number and your password. If prompted, enter the six-digit verification code sent to your trusted device or phone number to complete sign-in.

* To sign in with another Apple device, Bluetooth must be turned on for both devices and both devices need compatible software. If you don’t see the option to Use Another Apple Device or it isn’t working, update to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS on both devices.
If you’re already signed in on the iPhone paired with your Apple Watch, you will automatically be signed in to that Apple Account on your watch. Learn more about how to set up and sign in on your Apple Watch.
Open the Settings app.
Tap Apple Account at the top of Settings.

You can sign in on the web in your web browser. You can also sign in on iCloud for Windows, the Apple Music app, and the Apple TV app.
Download iCloud for Windows, then you’ll be prompted to sign in with your Apple Account email address or phone number and password.
Download the Apple Music app or Apple TV app if you haven’t already.
Click Sign In at the bottom of the sidebar.
In this pop-up menu, click Sign In at the bottom of the sidebar.
Enter your Apple Account email address or phone number and password. If prompted, enter the six-digit verification code sent to your trusted device or phone number and complete sign in.

Open the Settings app.
Go to Users and Accounts.
Choose a Suggested User or select Add New User.
Choose whether to use an iPhone or iPad that’s already signed in to the Apple Account you want to add to your Apple TV, or if you want to sign in manually.
If you chose to sign in manually, enter your Apple Account email address or phone number and your password. If prompted, enter the six-digit verification code sent to your trusted device or phone number and complete sign in.

If you didn’t sign in when you opened the app for the first time, you can use Settings in the Apple Music app or Apple TV app to sign in. Use your controller’s back button or left button to open the sidebar.
Go to Settings.
Select Sign in.
Enter your Apple Account email address or phone number and your password. You can also scan the QR code on the screen to use your phone to sign in.

If you use two-factor authentication with your Apple Account, you also need a verification code to sign in.

If you try to sign in on your device and it continuously spins or can’t connect to a server, check Apple’s system status page for an outage in your country or region. If there’s no outage, try connecting to another internet network or try again later.
If you see a Sign in with Apple button on a participating third-party app or website, you can use your existing Apple Account to quickly set up an account for that third-party app or website and sign in. If you can’t sign in to a third-party app or website with your Apple Account, contact the developer.
When you sign in on the App Store and other media services for the first time, you might need to add a credit card or other payment information. You can’t sign in on the App Store and other media services with more than one Apple Account at the same time, or update the content you buy with a different Apple Account. Depending on how you created your Apple Account, you might be prompted to upgrade to two-factor authentication on an eligible device, or complete account setup on the web.
