These devices use the second-generation Ultra Wideband chip:

• iPhone 15 models and later, excluding iPhone 16e

• iPhone Air

• Apple Watch Ultra 2 and later

• Apple Watch Series 9 and later

• AirTag (2nd generation)

• MagSafe Charging Case for AirPods Pro 3

In Japan, due to local regulation, some Ultra Wideband frequencies aren't available to customers, and as such, some Ultra Wideband features aren't available, including expanded Precision Finding range, Find People, and Precision Finding on Apple Watch. In Japan, customers will experience previous-generation Ultra Wideband chip performance.

Ultra Wideband isn't available in all countries or regions and is subject to international regulatory requirements that require it to be turned off in certain locations or with certain devices. Ultra Wideband isn't available in these countries or regions:

• Armenia

• Azerbaijan

• Belarus

• Kazakhstan

• Kyrgyzstan

• Russia

• Tajikistan

• Turkmenistan

• Ukraine

• Uzbekistan

If you're in Indonesia or Nepal, you can use Ultra Wideband only with these devices:
