Hide and unhide apps in your App Store purchase list

If you don't want to see an app in your list of purchases in the App Store, hide it. If you want to redownload the app, unhide it first.

What happens when you hide an app in your App Store purchase list

• The app, including any in-app purchases or subscriptions, will still appear in your complete purchase history in Settings.

• The app will no longer appear in your list of purchases in the App Store.

• If you use Family Sharing, family members can’t redownload the app from your list of shared purchases and in-app purchases will no longer be shared with family members.

• Hiding an app won’t remove it from your device, a family member’s device, or other devices that are signed in to your Apple Account. If you want to remove an app from the Home Screen, customize the Home Screen on your iPhone.

Hide apps on your iPhone or iPad

1. Open the App Store app.

2. Tap the My Account button, or your photo or initials at the top of the screen.

3. Tap Apps.

4. If you use Family Sharing, tap My Apps.

5. Find the app that you want, then swipe left on it and tap Hide.

   

6. Tap Done.

Unhide apps on your iPhone or iPad

If you deleted an app from your iPhone or iPad, the app doesn’t automatically reappear on your Home Screen when you unhide it. Instead, redownload the app from the App Store. You don't have to buy the app again.

1. Open the App Store app.

2. Tap the My Account button, or your photo or initials at the top of the screen.

3. Tap your name or Apple Account. You might be asked to sign in to your Apple Account.

4. Scroll down and tap Hidden Purchases.

   

5. Find the app that you want, then tap Unhide.

6. To return to your Hidden Purchases list, tap Done. Or, tap the Redownload button to redownload the app.

Hide apps on your Mac

1. On your Mac, open the App Store. If you’re not already signed in, click Sign In at the bottom of the sidebar, then sign in to your Apple Account.

2. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar. Your purchased apps appear.

3. Hold your pointer over the app and look for the More button. Click the More button, then choose Hide Purchase.

   

4. When you’re asked if you’re sure you want to hide the app, click Hide Purchase.

Unhide apps on your Mac

1. On your Mac, open the App Store.

2. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then click Account Settings at the top of the screen. If prompted, sign in to your Apple Account.

3. Scroll to Hidden Items, then click Manage.

   

4. Find the app that you want to unhide.

5. Click Unhide, then click Done. The app reappears in your Purchased list. You can click the Redownload button to redownload the app to your Mac.

Hide apps on your Apple Vision Pro

1. Open the App Store.

2. Tap the My Account button or your photo at the top of the screen, then tap Purchased.

3. If you use Family Sharing, tap My Purchases.

4. Find the app that you want, pinch and drag left on it, then tap Hide.

You can unhide your apps on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac that is also signed in to the same Apple Account as your Apple Vision Pro.
