Turn off Apple Pay Later on your device

Apple Pay Later is turned on by default on iPhone and iPad devices that support Apple Pay.¹ If you don't want to see the option to pay using Apple Pay Later at checkout, you can turn it off. You can turn it back on at any time.

How to turn off Apple Pay Later

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.

2. Tap Wallet & Apple Pay.

3. Scroll down and tap Show Apple Pay Later Option to turn it off.

If you turn off Apple Pay Later, you won't see the option to split a purchase into four equal payments at checkout. You can still apply for an Apple Pay Later loan in Wallet at any time. If you're approved, you need to turn Apple Pay Later back on before you can use it to make a purchase.

How to turn on Apple Pay Later

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.

2. Tap Wallet & Apple Pay.

3. Scroll down and tap Show Apple Pay Later Option to turn it back on.
