Use SharePlay with Apple Fitness+ on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV

With SharePlay and Apple Fitness+, everyone can work out or meditate together on a FaceTime call. See when someone closes their Activity ring or moves ahead on the Burn Bar. And keep each other motivated throughout the workout or meditation.

Here's what everyone needs

Start a group workout or meditation with SharePlay

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Fitness app and tap the Fitness+ tab. Then choose a workout.

  2. Tap the More buttonMore button, then tap the SharePlay buttonSharePlay button.

  3. When prompted, choose the contact that you want to add.

  4. To start the call from FaceTime, choose FaceTime. Or choose Messages to start the call from iMessage.

Join a group workout or meditation in a FaceTime call

  1. In a FaceTime call, tap Open next to Join SharePlay.

  2. When the Fitness app opens, tap Join SharePlay.

  3. Tap PlayPlay on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch.

Start a group workout or meditation on your Apple TV

  1. Make sure that you're signed in to your iPhone or iPad and Apple TV with the same Apple ID.

  2. On your iPhone or iPad, start a Group FaceTime call.

  3. On your Apple TV Remote, launch the Apple Fitness+ app.

  4. Choose the device that you want to pair with your Apple TV.

  5. Confirm on the device when prompted.

  6. Choose a workout on Apple TV and click Let's Go.

  7. Click SharePlay on the Apple TV, then confirm on your iPhone or iPad.

Your workout will play on your Apple TV while you're connected to FaceTime on your iPhone or iPad.
