Use advanced Wi-Fi options to specify preferred Wi-Fi networks and arrange them in order of preference. You can also use the advanced options to specify whether an administrator password is required to control certain Wi-Fi capabilities, such as turning Wi-Fi on or off.
To change these options on your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Network, select Wi-Fi in the service list, Option-click Advanced, then click Wi-Fi.

Preferred Networks
Your Mac looks for networks in the order they appear in the list of preferred networks, and connects to the first available Wi-Fi network it finds.
Add a network to the list: Click the Add button at the bottom of the Preferred Networks list, enter a network name, choose a security type from the pop-up menu, enter the password, then click OK.
To quickly add an available Wi-Fi network, click the Add button at the bottom of the Preferred Networks list, click Show Networks, select the network you want to add, click Join, enter the password, then click OK.
Remove a network from the list: Select the network you want to remove, then click the Remove button at the bottom of the Preferred Networks list.
Prioritize networks: Drag the networks into the order you prefer.
Set options for networks: Select the checkboxes to the right of a network name to join it automatically (Auto-Join), consider it a hidden network (Hidden), or allow the password for the network to be shared (Shareable).
If you don’t see the Hidden and Shareable checkboxes, click OK to return to the Wi-Fi pane, then Option-click Advanced.
Remember networks this computer has joined
Select this option to automatically add networks you joined to the network list.
