Block and unblock channels and topics in Apple News
You can block specific channels or topics you don't want to read.
Block or unblock a channel or topic in the Apple News app on your iPhone
To block a channel or topic:
Tap
.Search for the channel or topic you want to block, then tap it.
Tap
.Choose Block Channel or Block Topic.
To unblock a channel or topic:
Tap
.Scroll down to Manage and tap Blocked Channels & Topics.
Tap
next to the channel or topic you want to unblock, then tap Unblock.

To block a channel or topic:
Tap
in the tab bar.Search for the channel or topic you want to block, then tap it.
Tap
.Choose Block Channel or Block Topic.
To unblock a channel or topic:
If the sidebar is closed, tap
to open it.Scroll down to Manage and tap Blocked Channels & Topics.

next to the channel or topic you want to unblock, then tap Unblock.

To block a channel or topic:
If the sidebar is closed, click
to open it.Search for the channel or topic you want to block, then click it.
Click
.Choose Block Channel or Block Topic.
To unblock a channel or topic:
Choose File in the menu bar.
Choose Manage Blocked Channels & Topics.
Click
next to the channel or topic you want to unblock, then click Unblock.
If something you've blocked appears in Top Stories
Blocking is not supported in Top Stories or other groups curated by the Apple News editors, who vet each story in those groups for quality and accuracy.
