Watch together using SharePlay on Apple TV

With SharePlay, you can watch films or programmes with anyone, anywhere. Start a FaceTime call on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad (requires iOS 15.1 or iPadOS 15.1 or later), then begin watching a movie or show on Apple TV. Playback starts in sync for everyone on the call and everyone can control playback from their devices — so you and your friends can laugh, cry, scream or sigh at the same time.
Although you can’t use SharePlay to sync video from a Mac to Apple TV, you can still participate in SharePlay on a Mac using FaceTime and the Apple TV app for Mac (requires macOS Monterey 12.1 or later).
Note: Some apps that support SharePlay require a subscription. If you watch a purchased film or TV programme, all SharePlay participants must also have purchased the item in order to watch it together. Some films and TV programmes may not be available to SharePlay across different countries or regions. FaceTime or some FaceTime features and other Apple services may not be available in all countries or regions.
