Jump to locations in TextEdit documents on Mac
You can jump to a line or to the location of the insertion point in a TextEdit document.
Jump to a line
In the TextEdit app
on your Mac, choose Edit > Find > Select Line or press Command-L.
Do one of the following:
Jump to a specific line: Enter its number.
Jump forwards or backwards a number of lines: Enter “+” or “-” and the number of lines.
For example, to jump forward 5 lines, enter “+5”.
Click Select or press Return.
Return to your cursor’s location
In the TextEdit app on your Mac, choose Edit > Find > Jump to Selection or press Command-J.
