Check a printer’s ink levels using your Mac
You can use the Print dialogue on your Mac to check a printer’s name, location, printer model and ink levels.
With a document open on your Mac, choose File > Print.
Scroll down in the Print dialogue and click Printer Info.
Tip: You can also show printer options and supplies using Print Centre, which you can find in the Utilities folder. When Print Centre is open, select the printer in the sidebar, choose Printer > Printer Info, then click the Options tab or the Supply Levels tab. See Manage printers and print jobs with Print Centre.
