Find information about your warranty or AppleCare plan

Check whether your device is covered and see what kinds of repair and support are included with your coverage. Or find your agreement number, proof of purchase and expiry date.

Check whether your device is covered by an AppleCare plan or Apple's Limited Warranty

  • On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > General > AppleCare & Warranty, then tap your device.

  • On your Mac, click the Apple menu in the corner of your screen. Choose System Settings > General > AppleCare & Warranty.

  • Go to checkcoverage.apple.com and enter the serial number of your device. Then follow the onscreen instructions.

You can also go to mysupport.apple.com to find out if your device is covered. Sign in with your Apple ID, then choose your device. Find out what to do if the information is incorrect or you can't see your AppleCare plan.

See what your coverage includes and when your coverage expires

  • On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > General > AppleCare & Warranty, then tap your device.

  • On your Mac, click the Apple menu in the corner of your screen. Choose System Settings > General > AppleCare & Warranty.

  • Go to mysupport.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID. Then choose your device to see details about the support you’re eligible for – including hardware repairs and technical support.

Get the agreement number or proof of coverage

  1. Go to mysupport.apple.com.

  2. Sign in with your Apple ID.

  3. Choose your device.

  4. Click View Proof of Coverage. If you can't see your proof of coverage, make sure you set up your Apple ID with two-factor authentication.
