Get the Apple Music app on your smart TV, game console or streaming device
Find out how to download and set up the Apple Music app on your smart TV, game console or streaming device.
Here's what you need
Set up the Apple Music app
Go to your device's app store and download the Apple Music app. If you can't see the Apple Music app, your device may not be supported, or the Apple Music app isn't available in your country or region.
Open the Apple Music app.
Follow the onscreen steps to sign in with your Apple ID and complete setup:
Sign in using your mobile device: use the camera on your phone to scan the QR code on your screen. Then follow the instructions on your mobile device to sign in with your Apple ID and complete the setup process.
Sign in manually: use your remote or controller to sign in with your Apple ID in the Apple Music app or web browser and complete the setup process.
Some content in your music library may not be available in the Apple Music app on your smart TV, game console or streaming device.
Sign out of the Apple Music app
Open the Apple Music app.
Go to Settings > Account.
Choose Sign Out.
Reset the Apple Music app to its original settings
Before you sell or give away your device or uninstall the Apple Music app, you should reset the Apple Music app. Resetting the Apple Music app will sign you out of your account, remove your personal information and restore the app to its original settings.
If you reset the Apple Music app on a smart TV, game console or streaming device that’s also signed in to the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app, the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app will also be restored to their original settings.
To reset the Apple Music app:
Open the Apple Music app.
Go to Settings.
On your smart TV or streaming device, choose Reset the Apple TV and Apple Music.
On your games console, choose Reset Apple Music.
If you're signed in to the Apple Music app on a device you don't have access to
If you’re signed in to the Apple Music app on a smart TV, game console or streaming device that you can’t access, remove the device from your Apple ID device list.
