Change the Phone app layout

You can choose to use the Unified layout that combines your Favorites, Recents, and Voicemails in a single tab, or choose the Classic layout to sort them into separate tabs.

  1. Go to the Phone app on your iPhone.

  2. Tap Calls or Recents .

  3. Tap the Filter button, then choose one of the following:

    • Unified: Your favorite contacts, recent calls, and voicemails are combined and displayed in the Calls tab.

    • Classic: Your favorite contacts, recent calls, and voicemails are sorted into separate tabs.
