To check the version of Safari installed on your Mac:

  1. Open Safari.

  2. Choose Safari > About Safari.

  3. If the latest version of Safari 11.1 is installed, you see:

    • Version 11.1 (11605.1.33.1.4) on OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

    • Version 11.1 (12605.1.33.1.4) on macOS Sierra 10.12.6

    • Version 11.1 (13605.1.33.1.4) on macOS High Sierra 10.13.4
