Allow Pop-up Shazam and Shazam from notifications on an Android device

  1. Go to the Shazam app on your Android device, tap the Library button (or swipe to the Library), then tap the Settings button.

  2. Do either of the following:

    • Identify songs from notifications: Turn on “Notification bar.”

    • Identify songs from a pop-up button: Turn on “Notification bar” and “Pop-up Shazam.”
