About assessment reviews in Schoolwork
The assessment details view displays assessment results for each student (for example, time spent, time turned in), as well as the average time and review or score for the entire class. Viewing results and evaluating student work is an important step in the learning process. To evaluate student work, first choose the review type you want to use:
Completion: Use got it, not yet, or not done to review the assessment.
Letter System: Use A-to-F letter grades to review the assessment.
Number System. Use 1-4, 1-5, or 1-6 number ratings to review the assessment.
Point System. Mark and score individual questions in the assessment.
Satisfactory Scale. Use Excellent or Outstanding, Satisfactory, Needs Improvement, or Unsatisfactory to review the assessment.
Custom. Create your own system that includes emojis, numbers, and letters to review the assessment.
Then select review values and provide feedback to give direct, actionable information to your students. For example, “You improved on the comprehension questions, but keep pushing yourself on the vocabulary questions.” Depending on the review type you choose, you can provide quantitative data for grading to help you identify students needing additional assistance.
Note:
You can’t view and evaluate a student’s work until they turn in their assessment.
To view question-level results, you must select a review value for at least one student’s work.
