Find the software version of your device

• iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: On your device, open the Settings app. Tap General, then tap About. The version number is next to Software Version.

• Mac: On your Mac, choose Apple menu > About This Mac. The version number is below the macOS name.

• Apple Watch: Do one of the following:

  • On your Apple Watch, open the Settings app. Tap General, then tap About. Scroll until you see Version.

  • On your iPhone, open the Watch app. Tap General, then tap About. The version number is next to Version.
