If your photos don’t appear in GarageBand after installing macOS Mojave

After installing macOS Mojave on your Mac, you might not be able to access your photos in GarageBand.

If your photos don’t appear in GarageBand, close the app, then allow the app to access Photos in System Preferences:

  1. Quit GarageBand.
  2. Choose Apple () menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, then click Privacy.
  3. Select Photos.
  4. Select the checkbox next to GarageBand to allow it to access your photos.
