Start or join a call from a FaceTime link

1. Go to the FaceTime app on your Mac.

2. Do one of the following:

   • Create a link to a new FaceTime call: Click New, then click Create Link.

   • Create a link to the current FaceTime call: At the top of the window, click the call information (either the number of people in the call or the contact information), then click Share Link.

   • Share an existing FaceTime link: Click the tile with the FaceTime link you want to share, then click Share Link.

3. Choose how you want to share the link.

Do any of the following:

• From the FaceTime app: Click the tile with the FaceTime link, click Join FaceTime, then click Join.

• From the Messages app: Click Join, then click Join in the FaceTime app .

If you created the link, the call starts when you join.

You can manage callers if you created the FaceTime link. You can also manage callers if you’re using an Apple device and have been in the call for at least 30 seconds.

Do any of the following:

• Let someone join the call: Click the waiting notification at the top of the screen, then click .

• Decline a caller’s request to join: Click the waiting notification at the top of the screen, then click .

• Remove a caller: At the top of the window, click the call information (either the number of people in the call or the contact information), then click . You can remove a caller who has been in the call for 30 seconds or less. After you remove a caller, they can’t join that call again.

1. Go to the FaceTime app on your Mac.

2. Click the tile with the FaceTime link you want to delete, then click Delete Link. If you delete a link that you created, no one can join the call from it.
