Export PDFs and images in Preview on Mac
You can export a PDF or image to save it as a different type of file.
Go to the Preview app
on your Mac.Open the PDF or image you want to export.
Choose File > Export.
Select a file type from the Format pop-up menu.
You can also select options to reduce the file size. See Reduce the size of a PDF.
