Change General preferences in Music on Mac
In the Music app on your Mac, use the General pane in Music preferences to specify a library name, choose how to show lists, and more.
To change these preferences, choose Music > Preferences, then click General.
Note: Apple Music, lossless, and Dolby Atmos aren’t available in all countries or regions. See the Apple Support article Availability of Apple Media Services.

Download Dolby Atmos | Select to download immersive, three-dimensional (spatial) audio. Note: This option appears if you’re signed in as a subscriber to Apple Music. | ||||||||||

Use Listening History | Select so that the music you listen to:

When song changes | Display a notification from Notification Center when a new song begins to play. | ||||||||||
When a CD is inserted | If your computer has a CD or DVD drive, or if you have an external drive connected to your computer, choose what happens when you insert a CD. See Import songs from CDs. | ||||||||||
Automatically retrieve CD track names from Internet | If your computer has a CD or DVD drive, or if you have an external drive connected to your computer, choose to automatically display song and artist names when you insert an audio CD. (To retrieve track names, you must be connected to the internet.) | ||||||||||
