Change Passwords preferences in Safari on Mac
In the Safari app on your Mac, use Passwords preferences to view, add, or edit user names and passwords you saved for websites. To change these preferences, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Passwords.
Ask Siri. Say something like: “Show me my passwords.” Learn more about Siri.

Search field | Search website addresses, user names, and shown passwords in the list. | ||||||||||
List | Lists websites whose user names or passwords you saved while signing in or manually added, and whose passwords you chose never to save. If a website’s password is listed as “never saved,” it’s never autofilled. To autofill your password for a website, remove the website from this list. If a website’s password is listed as a series of dots, click them to see the password. See Change Auto-Fill preferences. To edit a website, user name, or password, double-click it. If you see a yellow triangle To create a stronger or unique password for the selected website, click the triangle, then click the website link and go to the change password page. | ||||||||||
Details | Shows the user name, password and the selected website. | ||||||||||
Add | Add websites, usernames and passwords to the list. Safari can autofill your user name and password for any websites you add. See Auto-fill credit cards, contacts and passwords. | ||||||||||
Remove | Remove websites you selected in the list. To select multiple websites, Command-click or Shift-click them. | ||||||||||
next to a website password, either it’s a weak password or you’re using the password on another site. Reusing passwords across different websites isn’t recommended — if an attacker knows your password for one website, they might be able to access your accounts on other websites.To sort the website list, click a column heading. For example, to focus on websites with saved passwords, bring them to the top of the list by clicking the Password column heading. Click again to change the sort direction.
