Create book collections

You can organize books in your library by grouping them in collections.

Open iBooks for me

Create a new collection

  1. In your library, click Collections.

  2. Click the Add button in the bottom-left corner, then name your collection.

  3. Select All in the list on the left, select one or more books, then drag them to your collection.

Note: Books can be in only one collection at a time.

You can also select books, then choose File > New Collection from Selection.

Move books to a collection

In your library, do any of the following:

  • Select a book, then choose File > New Collection from Selection.

  • Click Collections, select All in the list on the left, select one or more books, then drag them to your collection.

  • Click List, select a book, click its collection, then enter a new collection.

Books can be in only one collection at a time (although all books appear in All).

Delete a collection you created

  • Click Collections, select the collection, then press Delete.

Deleting a collection doesn’t delete the books in the collection (all books appear in All).
