How to set up your Apple Vision Pro

Find out what comes in the box with your Apple Vision Pro and how to start using it.

What’s in the box

Your Apple Vision Pro comes in a box with:

  • Enclosure and Audio Straps

  • Light Seal

  • Light Seal Cushion

  • Solo Knitted Band

You will also find a second Light Seal Cushion, a second head band (Dual Loop Band), a battery with attached power cable, USB-C Charge Cable, USB-C Power Adapter, Apple Vision Pro Cover and Apple Vision Pro Polishing Cloth included in the box.

You will need to charge the battery, connect the power cable and attach your ZEISS Optical Inserts (if needed).

Before setting up your Apple Vision Pro

Setting up your Apple Vision Pro

  1. Charge your Apple Vision Pro battery using the included power adapter and USB-C Charge Cable.

  2. On your Apple Vision Pro Audio Strap, insert the power cable with the power cable angled slightly upward. The dot on the power cable should line up with the white outlined dot on the Audio Strap.

  3. Rotate the power cable clockwise until it is locked in.

  4. When the battery light pulses on the power cable, this means the power cable is connected successfully and your Apple Vision Pro will turn on.

  5. Remove the cover on the front of your Apple Vision Pro.

  6. If you’ve purchased prescription or reader ZEISS Optical Inserts for vision correction, you can attach your ZEISS Optical Inserts.

  7. After you hear a tone or see that the battery light on the power cable is glowing solid, your Apple Vision Pro is ready to be worn.

  8. Put on your Apple Vision Pro and make sure you it fits well.

  9. Follow the onscreen steps to begin setting up visionOS.

After Apple Vision Pro has been turned on and the battery is kept connected, the device will go to sleep when you take it off and wake when you put it on.
