Problems with the roster in iTunes U for web
If you have trouble while using the roster panes in iTunes U for web, keep the following in mind:
If you disable enrollment for a private course, iTunes U does not allow students to request enrollment in the course. Students cannot enroll in your course until you click “Enable course enrollment” in the Admin | Enrollment roster pane.
If you enable enrollment for a private course, iTunes U allows students to request enrollment in the course. When the first student requests enrollment, if an email is associated with your account, iTunes U sends an enrollment request email. You do not receive an email upon every subsequent student request. iTunes U does not send another enrollment request email until after you view the roster for the course.
When you created your managed course:
If you imported your roster by selecting an Apple School Manager class, the Apple School Manager class information is the roster of record for your course. You cannot remove students or reset the roster within iTunes U. If the Apple School Manager class information is updated (for example, a student is removed or added), iTunes U updates your roster the next time it syncs class information.
If you choose to manually enter information about the course instead of importing Apple School Manager information, you can create your roster by either importing students from your Apple School Manager classes or by allowing students to manually request enrollment. Contributors you add to your course cannot manage the roster or course enrollment.
