If you have problems with a secure connection to iTunes on PC
Users who are able to browse the iTunes Store but are unable to sign in or purchase content may see the following message:
“iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. A secure network connection could not be established. Make sure SSL 3.0 or TLS 1.0 is enabled in the Internet Options control panel, then try again.”
Or, this message may appear:
“We could not complete your iTunes Store Request. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.”
To resolve it, check your computer’s date, time, and time zone. If they aren’t correct, reset them.
Set the correct date, time, and time zone
On your PC, go to Start, then choose Settings.
Click “Time & language” in the sidebar, then click “Date & time.”
If it’s not already on, turn on “Set time automatically.”
If resetting the date and time doesn’t resolve the problem
On your PC, go to Start, then choose Settings.
Search for Internet Options in the top-left corner.
Click Advanced.
Below the Security section, look for Use SSL 3.0 and Use TLS 1.0. Make sure at least one of those options is selected, then click OK (you can select both).
