If your keyboard and mouse light up when your iMac Pro sleeps

Turn on "Wake for network access" to keep peripherals from turning on while your iMac Pro is asleep.

You might notice that the Caps Lock key on your keyboard or the LED light beneath your mouse illuminate periodically when your iMac Pro is asleep.

You can prevent this by turning on the "Wake for network access" option:

  1. Choose Apple () menu > System Preferences.
  2. Click Energy Saver.
  3. Select the checkbox next to "Wake for network access" to turn this feature on and keep your peripherals from lighting up during sleep.
