Use widgets in Apple Vision Pro
With visionOS 26, you can arrange widgets in your surroundings to show useful information as you work. Widgets stay where you put them, and reappear when you put on Apple Vision Pro or re-enter the room in which they were placed.
How to add a widget to your view
Open the Widgets app.
Tap an app in the list on the left.
Swipe through the app's widgets to find a style you like, then tap Add Widget. The widget appears, with a gray border and the words Snap to Surface.
Pinch and drag the widget's window bar to move the widget to a flat surface in your surroundings. When you hover the widget over a surface where it can be placed, the words Snap to Surface disappear and the widget's contents appear. Then you can let go of the widget's window bar, and the widget snaps into place.
Tap the

You can add a custom assortment of widgets to different rooms and spaces. The widgets will reappear in each space when you put on your Apple Vision Pro or when you re-enter the room where they were placed.
Rearrange or remove a widget
Look at a widget, then pinch and hold until the window bar and menu appear.
Pinch and drag the window bar to move the widget to its new surface. Or tap the
to remove it.
If you're having trouble placing a widget
You can place a widget on walls, doors, and other vertical surfaces. You can also put widgets on horizontal surfaces like desks or the floor, where they'll sit at an angle. You can't place widgets on the ceiling.
Widgets need to be attached to a surface. Unlike windows, they can't float freely in your workspace. A widget won't let you place it until it detects a surface to anchor to.
Increase the lighting in your room to make sure Apple Vision Pro can detect the surfaces around you.
