
Change Colour Filters preferences for accessibility on Mac
On your Mac, use the Colour Filters pane of Accessibility Display preferences to adjust display colours for colour vision deficiencies or to tint the entire screen to make it easier to read text. See Use colour filters.
To change these preferences, choose Apple menu , click Display, then click Colour Filters.
Open the Colour Filters pane for me
Option | Description |

Enable Colour Filters | Adjust display colours using the selected filter type. |
Filter type | Choose a filter type: Greyscale, Red/Green (for protanopia), Green/Red (for deuteranopia), Blue/Yellow (for tritanopia) or Colour Tint. For all the filters (except for Greyscale), drag the slider to adjust the intensity. If you choose the Colour Tint filter, click the Colour thumbnail to customise the colour. |
To quickly turn Colour Filters on or off using the Accessibility Shortcuts panel, press Option-Command-F5 (or if your Mac or Magic Keyboard has Touch ID, quickly press Touch ID three times), then change the Enable Display Filters option.
To specify which options are available in the panel, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Accessibility, then click Shortcut.
