Share your location in Find My on Mac
Use Find My to share your location with your friends and family from your Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple Watch or on iCloud.com.

Turn on Share My Location
In the Find My app on your Mac, click People.
Select Me in the People list, then click the Info button on the map.
Turn on Share My Location (if it’s not already on).
To allow location sharing requests, turn on Allow Friend Requests (if it’s not already on).
If you turn off Allow Friend Requests, you only receive location sharing requests from those who are sharing their location with you.
Share your location
In the Find My app on your Mac, click People.
To see your current location, click the Current Location button in the lower-right corner of the map.
Click Share My Location at the bottom of the People list.
Type a name, an email address or a phone number in the To field. As you type, Find My suggests matching addresses from the Contacts app or from people you’ve previously shared your location with.
You can also click the Add button to the right of the To field to see all your contacts. Click a contact in the list, then click the email address or phone number.
Click Send, then choose how long you want to share your location.
Set a label for your location
In the Find My app on your Mac, click People.
Select Me in the People list, then click the Info button on the map.
Click Edit Location Name, then select an option (such as Home or Gym) or click Add Custom Label, enter a name, then press Return.
Stop sharing your location
In the Find My app on your Mac, click People.
Do one of the following:
Stop sharing with a friend: In the People list, select a name, click the Info button on the map, then choose Stop Sharing My Location.
Hide your location from everyone: In the People list, select Me, click the Info button on the map, then turn off Share My Location.
