Get an Apple Creator Studio university student or educator subscription
If you’re a verified student enrolled in or a verified educator employed at a degree-granting university or college, you can subscribe to Apple Creator Studio at a discounted monthly or yearly rate.
How to qualify for an Apple Creator Studio university student or educator subscription
You must be one of the following to qualify for an Apple Creator Studio university student or educator subscription:
A student attending a university or college and studying for an associate’s degree, a bachelor’s degree, a post-graduate degree or an equivalent higher education course.
An educator at an accredited institution of higher education.
Before you subscribe
Make sure you know your Apple Account email address or phone number and password.
You need a valid payment method added to your Apple Account.
To verify your status, you’ll need:
An official university or college identification number.
An official university or college email account that you currently have access to.
Get a university student or educator subscription to Apple Creator Studio
If you’re currently subscribed to Apple Creator Studio, find out how to change your subscription plan. If you’re a new subscriber, follow these steps:
To subscribe, visit the App Store to download Apple Creator Studio.
Open one of the Apple Creator Studio apps, click or tap Continue, then follow the onscreen instructions. For Keynote, Pages or Numbers, you can subscribe from within the app when you interact with premium content or features.
Click or tap See All Plans.
Select the Education Monthly or Education Annual plan.
Choose Verify Eligibility.
Choose Student or Educator.
Follow the onscreen instructions to verify your eligibility for a discounted subscription. Need help?
After your eligibility has been verified, follow the onscreen steps to start a free trial and purchase a university student or educator subscription with your Apple Account.
Reverify your university student status
Once a year, Apple will ask you to reverify your status.
Reverify your university student status on Mac
Go to the System Settings app, then click your name at the top of the sidebar. If you see “Sign In” at the top of the sidebar, sign in to the Apple Account you used when you originally subscribed.
Click Media & Purchases, then click Manage next to Subscriptions.
Click Apple Creator Studio.
Click Verify Student Status. Need help?
Follow the onscreen steps to verify your student status.
If the verification is successful, you’ll automatically return to the app and continue your subscription.
Reverify your university student status in Settings on iPhone or iPad
Go to the Settings app, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
Tap Apple Creator Studio.
Tap Verify Student Status. Need help?
Follow the onscreen steps to verify that you’re a student.
If the verification is successful, you’ll see a confirmation screen.
You can also reverify on the Subscriptions tab when you sign in to account.apple.com.

If your status doesn’t immediately get verified
You may be asked to sign in to your institution’s portal, have a verification code sent to your school email address or upload images of documents, such as your student ID or a pay slip.
If you need help with SheerID
If you’re a new subscriber and see a message in an app that your review is in progress, you can tap Get Help at the bottom of that screen to contact SheerID.

If your student verification process is through Alipay and you need help or contact information for support, read their FAQ.
If you don’t reverify your university student status
If you’re still a university student and you don’t reverify your status during the verification period, your subscription will renew automatically as a standard Apple Creator Studio subscription. If you want the discounted subscription, you’ll need to resubscribe as a student and complete the verification process again.
If you’re no longer a university student
Your university student subscription will renew automatically as a standard Apple Creator Studio subscription. If you’re prompted to verify your status in one of the Apple Creator Studio apps, choose I’m No Longer A Student.
