Send your iPhone to Apple for a service
After you’ve contacted Apple for a service, you’ll receive a kit that contains everything you need to return your product to Apple.
Before you send your iPhone
Back up your iPhone
Erase your iPhone to delete your personal data and remove it from your Apple Account: in Settings, tap General > Transfer or Reset iPhone, then tap Erase All Content and Settings. You will need to enter your Apple Account password to confirm.
If your iPhone uses a physical SIM card, remove it and keep it in a safe place. If your iPhone uses an eSIM, contact your wireless network provider to suspend service.
Power down your iPhone.
Pack your iPhone
When you pack your iPhone, don’t include anything else in the box – such as a phone case, power adapter, USB cable or other accessory. If you do, they won’t be returned to you.
Place your iPhone in the bag.
Place the bag in the postage box and close the box. Make sure the battery sticker is pasted flat on the box and isn’t covered by tape or a postage label.
Send your iPhone to Apple
The courier will bring a box to collect your iPhone. When you pack your iPhone, don’t include anything else in the box – such as a phone case, power adapter, USB cable or other accessory. If you do, they won’t be returned to you.
When the courier arrives, take the provided Return Airway Bill (AWB) label and paste it on the box they provide.
The courier will wait for up to 10 minutes for you to prepare and pack your product.
If the courier leaves before you pack your product, arrange for another courier to collect the device: Call GD Express Malaysia Customer Service on 03-64195003 (Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) They’ll ask for the number from the Return AWB number provided by the previous courier.
Make sure you get proof of collection from the courier to confirm that you’ve sent your iPhone for a service.
Apple is not responsible for any damage sustained during delivery.
