Send your AirPods, AirPods Pro or AirPods Max to Apple for a service

After you’ve contacted Apple for a service, you’ll receive a kit that contains everything you need to return your product to Apple.

Before you return your product

  • Remove your AirPods from your Apple Account: in the Find My app, select the Devices tab > select your device, then swipe up and tap Remove This Device. Tap Remove to confirm.

  • If you're sending AirPods Pro, remove the ear tips and keep them in a safe place. If you include your ear tips, they won’t be returned.

  • If you’re sending AirPods Max, remove the ear cushions. If you include your ear cushions, they won’t be returned.

Pack your AirPods

Send your product to Apple

The courier will bring a box to collect your product. When you pack your product, don't include anything else in the box – such as your ear tips, ear cushions, USB cable, power adapter or other accessory. If you include extra items, they won’t be returned.

When the courier arrives, take the provided Return Airway Bill (AWB) label and paste it on the box they provide.

  • The courier will wait for up to 10 minutes for you to prepare and pack your product.

  • If the courier leaves before you pack your product, arrange for another courier to collect the device: Call GD Express Malaysia Customer Service on 03-64195003 (Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) They’ll ask for the number from the Return AWB number provided by the previous courier.

Make sure you get proof of collection from the courier to confirm that you’ve returned your previous product.
