Find out what to do if you receive a Deceptive Website Warning while browsing the web in Safari.
If you try to visit a website in Safari that has been reported as deceptive, you may see a "Deceptive Website Warning". This alert explains that the website may try to trick you into installing software or disclosing personal or financial information. These deceptive sites may look like the website of a company that you trust, including Apple.
If you receive this warning, Apple recommends that you select Go Back to avoid the site. If you understand the risks involved, you can choose to visit the unsafe website anyway.
If you believe that the website was reported incorrectly, you can report an error.
