Make and view lists in Reminders on Apple Watch
In the Reminders app, you can set reminders, make grocery lists, create checklists, and organize to-do lists. With iCloud, you can keep your reminders up to date on all your devices.
Keep your reminders up to date on all your devices with iCloud
Your iCloud reminders—and any changes you make to them—appear on your paired iPhone and other devices where you’re signed in to your Apple Account.
To learn how to set up the Reminders app on your iPhone, see Get started with Reminders in the iPhone User Guide.
Create a reminder
Siri: Ask Siri something like, “Remind me to pick up my dry cleaning at 5 p.m.” See Use Siri for your daily routine.
Or without using Siri:
Go to the Reminders app
on your Apple Watch.
Scroll to the bottom of a list, tap Add Reminder, then enter your text.
View a list
Go to the Reminders app
on your Apple Watch.
Tap a list to open it.
Do any of the following:
Mark an item as complete: Tap
next to the item. Or tap the reminder, then tap Mark as Completed.
See the completed reminders: Tap View Options, then tap Show Completed.
Return to the list view: Tap
in the top-left corner.
Respond to a reminder notification
If you see the reminder notification when it arrives: Tap the notification, swipe (or turn the Digital Crown to scroll) the reminder, then tap Mark as Completed, or choose a time to be reminded.
If you discover the notification later: Tap it in your list of notifications, then scroll and respond.
Share a list and collaborate
You can share a list and collaborate with people who use iCloud. Shared lists show people you’ve assigned a reminder to. On Apple Watch, you can join a shared list, but you can’t share a list from Apple Watch. See Share lists and collaborate in Reminders in the iPhone User Guide.
