Thunderbolt (USB-C) ports
With the Thunderbolt (USB-C) ports, you can use a Thunderbolt or USB-C cable to connect a display or projector, and connect or charge other devices and accessories (such as an iPad or a rechargeable mouse or keyboard). You can also transfer data at Thunderbolt speeds.
For Mac mini with M6, the ports are Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 and transfer data up to 40 Gbit/s. For Mac mini with M5 Pro, the ports are Thunderbolt 5 and transfer data up to 120 Gbit/s.
If you have a device that doesn’t connect to this port, you can use an adapter to connect it. See the Apple Support article Adapters for the Thunderbolt or USB-C port on your Mac.
