Change the order of actions in an Automator workflow on Mac
You can change the order of actions in a workflow by dragging an action to the new location.
In the Automator app on your Mac, do any of the following:
Drag the action to the desired location.
Select the action, press and hold the Command key, then press the Up Arrow key or the Down Arrow key.
Whenever you rearrange actions, you should compare the input and output of the actions in the workflow to ensure they work together.
