Use Repair Assistant to finish a Mac repair
After a part has been installed as part of a Mac repair, use Repair Assistant to retrieve calibration information from Apple and finish the repair.
What is Repair Assistant?
Repair Assistant is a built-in utility for those who repair Apple devices, including as part of the Self-Service Repair program. It’s used to complete Apple’s part calibration process and finish the repair. This ensures that the installed part meets performance, security, privacy, safety, and reliability expectations.
If a part is not calibrated, your Mac shows a notification that you need to finish your repair of that part. Whether or not you installed the part yourself, you can use Repair Assistant to finish the repair.
