Reset your phone and get a six-digit verification code to set up your iPhone from an Android device
If you set up your new iPhone with the Move to iOS Android app but didn't complete your data migration, you can restart the process after you reset your iPhone.
Use a charging cable and a Mac to reset your iPhone and get a six-digit code
Press and hold both the side button and the Volume Down button of your iPhone until the power off slider appears. Drag and hold the slider to turn your iPhone off.
Connect the cable to your Mac. As you connect the cable to your iPhone, simultaneously hold the side button and do not release it. Continue to hold the side button while the Apple logo appears. Do not release the side button until an image of a computer and a cable appears.
On your Mac, open the Finder and locate your iPhone in the sidebar under Locations. Select Trust [your device] on your iPhone and Mac if necessary.
In the Finder on your Mac, choose Restore when you have the option to Restore or Update.
Once the restore process finishes, the Hello screen will appear on your iPhone. Disconnect your phone from the computer and begin to follow the onscreen instructions to set up your iPhone.
When you reach the Transfer Your Apps & Data screen, tap From Android.
Open the Move to iOS app on your old Android phone and follow the onscreen instructions.
When you reach the Connect via Code screen on your Android device, tap continue. Then on your iPhone, tap Continue on the Transfer from Android screen to generate your six-digit code and finish your migration.
