To use Apple Pay you need a supported card from a participating card issuer. To check if your card is compatible with Apple Pay, contact your card issuer. Apple Pay is not available in all markets. To use Express Transit in Sydney and New York, you need a debit or credit card set up in the Wallet app and set as your Express Transit card on an iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE (2016), or later running the latest version of iOS. Or, an Apple Watch Series 1 or later running the latest version of watchOS.
Tickets and daily passes may be purchased directly in Wallet. To add a Navigo Weekly and/or Monthly pass to your Navigo card in Wallet, you need to purchase the pass via the Ile-de-France Mobilités app. For a list of tickets not eligible to purchase or use in Wallet, see the Ile-de-France Mobilités website.
Express mode is not available on some buses as marked, and you must authenticate to validate your ticket in Wallet on those buses.
To add a Navigo card to Wallet, you need an iPhone XS or SE 2 or later with iOS 17.5 or later. Or, an Apple Watch Series 6 or SE 2 or later with watchOS 10.5 or later.
PRESTO cards in Apple Wallet are not accepted on OC Transpo in Ottawa.
To add a PRESTO card to Wallet, you need an iPhone SE (2nd Gen) or iPhone 8 or later with iOS 16.4 or later, or an Apple Watch Series 4 or later with watchOS 9.4 or later. Payment cards can only be used for adult full fares. Credit cards and internationally issued Visa and Mastercard debit cards can be used with Express Transit in Wallet. Interac debit cards can be used by double-clicking on the side button on the device.
Not accepted on commuter rail, commuter ferry, regional transit authorities, paratransit, parking, and non-MBTA affiliate mobility services. In order to receive a reduced fare benefit, you must enroll your payment card in your reduced fare program. Visit mbta.com for more information.
Ventra transit cards in Wallet are not accepted on Pace paratransit or Metra.
To add a Ventra transit card to Wallet, you need the Ventra app downloaded on an iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE (2016) or later running the latest version of iOS. Or, an Apple Watch Series 1 or later running the latest version of watchOS.
To add a TAP, Clipper, or SmarTrip transit card to Wallet, you need an iPhone 8 or later with the latest version of iOS. Or, an Apple Watch Series 3 or later with the latest version of watchOS.
Not accepted on AirTrain JFK, Access-A-Ride, or for onboard fare payment on LIRR or Metro-North.
Payment cards can only be used for purchase of adult full fares on SEPTA Bus and Metro but not on regional rail.

SmarTrip transit cards in Wallet are not accepted on MARC, VRE, or MTA vehicles.
