About Transporter for macOS
Transporter for macOS is a simple and easy way to upload your content to App Store Connect or iTunes Connect for distribution on the App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV app, iTunes Store, or Apple Books. After you create your app, music, TV, movie, or book content and generate a Store Package (iTMSP), use Transporter for macOS to verify and deliver the package file. You can also upload an app (an .ipa file for iOS apps or a .pkg file for macOS apps) and Transporter app generates an .itmsp package for you. Once that package has been created, you can verify and deliver it.
Using Transporter for macOS, you can:
Verify the content in a package file; validating that your package is complete and consistent with Apple’s requirements (for example, the file is well formed and data is complete)
View delivery progress (including warnings, errors, and delivery logs), as well as a history of past deliveries
Deliver the package file to the App Store, iTunes Store, Apple Music, Apple TV app, or Apple Books
Notes:
Use Resources and Help and iTunes Connect or App Store Connect to validate content and add additional information to package files you delivered.
Depending on your iTunes Connect role or encoding house access level, you might have verify-only privileges within Transporter.
