Use #images in Messages on Mac
With macOS 11 or later, you can send a variety of emotive images and GIFs in any message.
Note: Sending images and GIFs isn’t available in all countries or regions.
In the Messages app
on your Mac, select a conversation.
Click the Apps button
to the left of the text field, click the #images button
, then select a trending image or GIF from the list or search for a specific one that matches your mood.
To include a written message with the image, type it in the field, then press Return.
