Mount a volume that’s been ejected using Disk Utility on Mac
If you eject a volume, you can use Disk Utility to mount the volume so that it’s available in the Finder.
Go to the Disk Utility app
on your Mac.
If Disk Utility isn’t open, click
in the Dock, type Disk Utility in the Search field, then click
.
Select the volume you want to mount, then click
.
You can also make an external volume available by disconnecting the external device from your Mac, then reconnecting it.
